"The property owners/hosts are extremely welcoming and accommodating - genuine interest in ensuring you have a great trip to the dales by offering recommendations, advice, helping to solve any problems etc. (e.g. the night we arrived it was late and couldn’t find anywhere to eat - the owner rang around different places on our behalf and ensure we got a table somewhere). Lovely house in a lovely setting with a great breakfast. "

"Wonderful hotel in an beautiful setting in the Yorkshire Dales just outside Settle. We were upgraded to a room with a view of the gardens and a four poster bed. Really friendly staff throughout the stay, with a great breakfast served the next day."

"They do it very cheap at the expense of cleanliness and lack of very basic features like having a towel, duvets, a clean kettle etc. The receptionist accused hotels.com of not diplaying their accommodation details correctly. But they do not have to go very cheap in order to secure customers; A cabin for £80.00, but you have to pay extra for duvets. I have never been to any b&b or Inn where duvets/blankets are not provided!!! I can expect such a thing only in if you're doing your own camping. "
