This really had the feel of a uniquely Turkish place. The architecture, the decor and the location - all were charming and authentic, as well as comfortable. Breakfast in the courtyard was really good. The three staff I met (Nazmi, Erdal and Yalçim - thank you for the hospitality) were helpful and friendly. Of course Nazim invited me to visit his shop, but he was not insistent and happy to just let me browse (I'm not a shopper). He also gave me good advice for dinner: the Amazon Bistro Café, within easy walking distance. The hotel is located in the scenic old core of the city, in the middle of winding narrow streets, within walking distance of Ephesus, the Isa Bey Mosque, Ayasoluk Castle and the Basilica of St. John. It is also close to the Ephesus archeological museum, and to the bus station. It was my favourite of the four hotels I stayed in during my holiday.

The hotel is located in a perfect location close to everything in town and tourism. Erdal Bey and his staff go out of there way to ensure you are well informed and comfortable.

Love Sweet Hotel Nilya
Amazing, cute little hotel. They made sure I felt like home and that I was safe as a female solo traveler. Like family. Amazing breakfast, so good. Right near ancient St John Basilica. They drove me to Ephesus ruins and picked me up. Made sure i was hydrated at all times. Covid precautions are in place. Each room is decorated uniquely! Perfect Turkish experience. Great hotel staff, booked my bus to next destination. Hotel is shaded by trees so it does not get too hot. Local cats make the experience extra sweet. Air conditioned rooms. Lovely shower. Thanks again. :) much love. Amanda Violet Rosales

Nilya is truly a charming place, and so is backwater Selcuk (as opposed to overbuilt Kusadasi). The manager was gracious, our room was nicely and tastefully appointed, and having breakfast in the garden (or a beer in the evening) was a treat.
