In theory this could have been a bad review. The restaurant and spa were closed for renovation, the lack of soundproofing in the interconnecting rooms meant our noisy neighbours kept us awake at 5am, and we were promised a room with a bath but didn’t get one. However the way the brilliant staff responded to every problem or request, the beautiful rooms and the really helpful concierge made a big difference and left us with such a positive view of the hotel still. The duty manager Andreea was...

Rooms are clean, bed is comfortable, food is delicious. 25-30 minutes walking distance to the old town.

This very comfortable and friendly hotel is right next to the old Town and yet our room was quiet and spacious. The staff were very helpful with recommendations for a good restaurant and where is best to change money. I will definitely use it if I visit Bucharest again.

iam a solo traveller and have used this hotel quite a few times , i find it much nicer than a huge hotel , they remember you and staff so nice . I feel safe and highly recommend it Sad i missed Michelle I will be back in December

The staff stood out.

Took a punt on this one as I wanted to stayed outside of BUC as I was travelling east early next norning. Nice clean modern hotel. Very friendly staff and dinner in the restaurant was excellent. So nice I returned on the way back to BUC instead of heading into the city.

Cannot fault this property. Very friendly, helpful staff who made our stay exceptionally good. The quality of the food and drink was faultless. All facilities were very clean and in working order. Very well located for access to the Metro, short walk to the old town. It truly is a little hidden gem, highly recommend this hotel for a stay in Bucharest.

The hotel is beautifully located next to the park and centrally located for the old town and the various places of interest that you may want to visit. From check in to check out and various questions in between the receptionists were always most helpful. The rooms were cleaned to a high standard each day and always smelt fresh on return from a day in the city or sight-seeing. Breakfast was very adequate and a good start to the day.

Great stay in a fantastic hotel with very professional staff .., a pleasure every time !

What can I say?? This apartment is AMAZING!! I actually am reluctant to give it such a great review as I want to keep it to myself! Gabriel is a incredibly thoughtful host and the apartment is so beautiful, great view, close to amenities and not far to the central town by taxi. Underground parking is extra but worth it and also a cleaning fee is paid for but totally worth it as the property is spotless.

I was really impressed with the Mercure. It's easy to get to via the 783 bus from the airport (get off at Piata Romana and walk 3 mins) and it's close to plenty of restaurants and bars (I tended to go to Super Falafel around the corner for a cheap, quick, healthy lunch). The rooms are high standard, clean, with new furniture and a smart TV. The shower was great and there's a fridge you can use if you make space by removing the (ridiculously priced) mini bar items. The wifi was reliable, fast...

Very friendly and helpful staff. Nearby grocery store. Metro is also very close. The hotel and room are clean. There is a nearby gym which is free for the hotel guests.

Great room, staff were very helpful, awesome breakfast selection.

Great hotel, nice staff, good bus connection to airport nearby.
