"Room was as expected, good size, bunk for teenager and enough room for the dog bed and dog to wonder round in. Room was reasonably clean, linen fresh and clean. Wifi struggled a little for 24hrs. Breakfast was plentiful, staff were lovely, nice touch in the room for the dog (treats). Would stay again."

"Great location just yards from the beach, as base for visiting nearby attractions such as bamburgh castle and Cragside. Rocky in parts but otherwise golden sand beach and again short walk to Seahouses. Just lovely seaside resort. Hotel staff friendly and food excellent with choice of dining room or lounge to relax. Would stay again."

"The property was ideally situated just a short walk from the shops and town centre. It was small but comfortable with everything needed for your stay. Even although the weather was cold at night, once the fire was on for a short time, the place became very cosy. The only issue would be parking near the property. I found a space in the nearby street. This was fine as it was still close. Being early in the season this might have been easy but perhaps during peak times it might be more tricky."

"The location is great and the parking facility a bonus (once the narrow entrance is negotiated). Very comfortable seating and bed with good quality linen and furnishings. The kitchen is well equipped, you can bake a cake but there is no grill rack to use in the grill pan if you want bacon or chops etc. There is no mention of several external steps to get in to this particular cottage (the others just a doorstep) or the fact that it is off a uneven cobbled courtyard, both unsuitable for the less mobile."

"Our stay at the links was more than expected, lovely clean, warm room, excellent bathroom facilities, very friendly reception staff, excellent location for local ammienties and exploring the local area, a great little cafe next door where you can get a tasty breakfast served by friendly staff.i would fully recommend a stay at the links,we will certainly be returning "

"Lovely property, decorated in a lovely way although strong smell of fish downstairs that would not go. The fridge smelt of fish and not sure if this was the issue or the damp and mould on some of the walls.The beds were not super comfy but fine for a few nights. Enough space for the family,we had a great stay, perfect location and property had been cleaned. We visited close locations, beadnell and bamburgh, and discovered seahouses beach which we loved. We loved seahouses and although the property had a few flaws, overall it was nice."
