Lovely hotel in a beautiful location. We were in a standard room and were very impressed by the comfort and quality - the photos don’t do the room justice! The bathroom was very modern and well maintained and the double bed very comfortable. There are a few hangers but otherwise not much space to unpack. We also enjoyed the amenities the hotel has to offer. We tried the restaurant twice for dinner and although it is a bit expensive, the food was an absolutely delicious fine dining experience....

Staff in the hotel were all pleasant and helpful, and rooms were nice and comfortable. I opted not to eat in the restaurant as I thought I'd be pushed for time to have breakfast before some of the organised tours starting at 8am, and generally decided to eat elsewhere in Reykjavik for dinner. Location wise, it's a quiet road just at the eastern edge of downtown, so just a few minutes walk away from various shops and restaurants. Also about 5 minutes walk from bus stop #12 which seems to be one...

We had a great stay at this hotel. Very clean and comfortable room. The room did get very warm (even with the radiators offf in December) but the windows opened, so we could cool it easily. Staff were helpful and friendly and the breakfast buffet was delicious, with a range of fresh and healthy food. We enjoyed cosy hour between 5 - 6pm, where the hotel provides a complimentary wine/beer/non alcoholic drink in the bar/lounge area. We would happily stay here again.

Highly recommend and would come back if we visited again. The breakfast was very good and included a separate vegan corner, which was very welcome for me as a vegetarian. Location is excellent for visiting various attractions in the area.

Beautifully renovated in all aspects Staff amazing ! Wonderful stay

All the staff were Great answers all our questions. Our Hotel room was a nice size & clean.Breakfast was fine wished the Orange Juice would have been freshly squeezed rather than out of a machine. We went on a few Trips that were Fantastic like the Flyover theatre & The Perlan Museum that we both Enjoyed. Iceland is an expensive place to visit. Eating out was pricey The Taxis were very Expensive

Great location, clean and very helpful staff. Bus stop 13 is right outside the hotel and very convenient

Comfortable and clean hotel in a good location, within easy walking distance of the harbour and town, and a few minutes away from the bus stop for excursion pick ups. Breakfast was plentiful with a wide variety of options, and the staff were friendly and very helpful.

Spotless room with a runway view, comfy bed and excellent breakfast selection

An absolutely fantastic hotel to stay in. The rooms were very spacious and clean. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. An eco friendly hotel. Breakfast buffet was superb with a tasty variety. It was situated in a fantastic area with easy walking distance to pretty much everything you need. Will definitely stay at this hotel again and highly recommend it to others.

Had a lovely stay in this hotel. Loved the leafy location and gorgeous views. Food in the restaurant was delicious and breakfast was a very chilled affair...yum! Rooms were comfy and the toiletries were lux. I liked sitting in the afternoon sun in the garden a lot. Super cool staff. Wonderful place!

Great hotel, clean and relaxing friendly staff, and probably the best breakfast choice in Finland

Nice very modern. Impressive restaurant with slightly up market menu. Excellent breakfast inckuded

Fantastic hotel in a superb location. Service is excellent and the bagel shop and Le Kock are fab. Got to try the garlic and parmesan potatoes in Le Kock and the smoked salmon bagels are out of this world! Location is fantastic for both the town and for the whale watching/Northern Lights. Bedrooms comfortable and bathroom was great. Not sure about the decor - our room looked like it hadn't been finished but it was a design choice apparently. Not my taste but some might like it. Really...
