"Love this hotel and have previously given it 5 star but this time our receptionist on arrival did not infuse and make us as welcome as all the others and the Sunday buffet breakfast was a little disappointing in quality. Would still return as it is a lovely place to stay and ideally situated."

"Beautiful place and right in the city centre, so great for movement around. Hotel itself quite neat and they made efforts to give us early check in. They also offered to keep our luggage until our next visit."

"The first room we were given stunk of cigarette smoke coming from the bathroom. Odd as the room had been cleaned. The reception staff immediately gave us a better room. I also found it a little weird that the hallways were so dim (?). The wall sconces were on but didn’t throw much light. "

"Great place, very friendly gent at the front desk, the bar staff gave me a nice glass of ice to take to my room, bed was comfy and room was a nice size - recommend"

"The building was rather tired on the outside and quite functional, although we had everything we needed. However, the staff were excellent and the breakfast was well organised and very good value. Overall it suited our purposes."
