"If you are looking for a place to experience some peace and comfort but still not too far from Varanasi this may be the right choice. I had a lovely welcome, the room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. Loved the rainfall shower. The hotel is in a quiet village on the river (not accessible from the property), next to a temple/ashram that you can visit which has access to the river. "Overall, the stay was great at Primeland. As for cheaper hotels in India that I’ve stayed at, it is one of the better ones. The location is not ideal, however, it is not too far out of the way. The staff were kind and helpful in connecting us with a great driver for a day. The breakfast was very good (both quality and selection was excellent).
