Fantastic staff and service

I was in Sao Paolo for five nights for work, and it happened to be my birthday while I was here. The hotel staff went out of their way to make my day special! (Midnight snacks and cake as per Brazilian tradition, more cake the next day… it just kept on going!) Wonderful staff, comfortable rooms, great location. Would stay here again, and hope to be back on my birthday!

Pricey for what it offers

The hotel is on a good location and is moderately nice. The restaurant is good, but not great in comparison to same standard hotels in Brazil. The gym is well equipped, and the reception is friendly and professional. However, the hotel rooms are a bit dated, and the "fille de joie" sitting at the lobby in the evenings were a bit of a surprise.

Is it the newest most exciting hotel in Sao Paulo, no. But it is certainely the most consistent. I've been going for 13 years, and the stays are always great. The bed is one of the most comfortable hotel bed I've stayed at. Love Renaissance SP !

Very well located hotel for central Sao Paulo and nice room. We paid a little extra to get a room that was already available when we arrived at 8am and it was worth the upgrade. Club rooms are worthwhile as happy hours include a buffet and drinks and breakfast in the morning. Really helpful and lovely staff special mention to Malcoon in the club lounge who encouraged us to try Brazilian specialities and to Maria on reception for the shopping advice! The hotel dealt really well with a block-wide power outage using emergency generators to power the lobby, emergency lighting and wifi and they got the rest of the lighting/aircon back on as quickly as they could.

Wow! Customer service 10 diamonds. The staff namely Danille was so welcoming and helpful omg. The hotel is stunning!!!! The breakfast room amazing lots of light and plants imagine a real honeycomb drizzling honey over fruits. Romance novel type stuff. I underestimated how cold the breakfast area was and the hotess a lovely warm and friendly young lady offered me a shawl. This was Customer service at a whole other level and weve stayed at the 4 seasons and ritz etc. The food was amazing we did the lounge package the welcome reception food is very good. The only downside to that was there is nothing from 11am to 530 just candy and soda. Our room was nice. The view blah. But this hotel is excellent.

6 hours to get a baby crib, but got late checkout

It started rather well. Received a glass of espumante and the lobby is nice. The room was good with a desk and comfy bed. The big minus with the room is that they don’t have free water bottles. It’s not many hotels I been to that don’t provide free bottled water. Anyway, the big problem is their management and service. Received welcome emails asking what I need and so on. Told them that a baby crib is important to have in the room when we arrive. They said it will be sorted. When I entered the room, there was no baby crib so went down to speak with them. We’ll send one straight away, they said. Turns out that I took 6 hours and 4 visits to the reception to receive it. Every time I asked- they said it will be sent straight away. Otherwise they offered a very late check out that was much appreciated.
