"First, let me comment on the security of the hotel. You had to use facial recognition to access the hotel after Valet Parking. Which was $16 USD per 24 hrs. I thought that was very advanced as well as the code they send to your phone that only you receive upon check-in. Our sink and shower leaked very badly. I tried to explain to the front desk staff. I don't think she understood. The shower would clog as soon as the shower was turned on, i dont want to think of the germs that must've been inside the shower. The sink was leaking, from the basin itself which kept our bathroom floor wet.
I can't understand how that wasn't fixed prior to our stay. The price was also extremely expensive, we paid American prices. The room was small, it had one bed and a sleeper sofa. However, on the bright side, it had great Air Conditioning and a comfortable bed.
The breakfast buffet was the best part of the stay. They had a large variety of fresh fruits, cakes, breads, eggs, meats, fresh squeezed juices, coffee, hot chocolate, cheeses, lunch meat, I could go on.
I also loved the location, when walking out of the hotel, you're located directly on Avenida Paulista. Where all the action occurs, the shops, vendors, restaurants. Access to the Subway system, etc. Police are visibly located on almost every street corner. I felt safe.
The room was labeled as having a kitchenette. There was a small cooktop
With a small refrigerator. There were dishes and utensils but no pots and pans to cook with."
