This property was beautiful and was everything we needed for a wonderful trip to Santorini. Yiota was a perfect host that was so accessible to answer any questions. Staying in Pyrgos was a perfect location. The village was so beautiful and walking around was a highlight of the trip. The terrace was a gorgeous spot for sunrise and the breakfast was generous and started the day off right. Wonderful stay!

We stayed one night at Pyrgos Castelli in July, when we on short notice needed one extra night in Santorini before our planned hotel booking in another hotel. We were so well received, despite the short notice, late arrival, and staying only one night. The apartment was high standard and very cosy and clean. In the morning a delicious breakfast was delivered to us. Pyrgos is a very charming little mountain top village with great views. Would have loved to stay longer!

Very enjoyable stay in Santorini

We stayed for one night and it was amazing - the traditional cave house was very comfortable to stay. The outdoor Jacuzzi was a nice surprise. The breakfast was in large portion. The host was very friendly and kind and made great recommendations on nice restaurants. Overall it was a very memorable place and we enjoyed it very much.

This property and the host Katerina is exceptional. If you chose to visit the cave house then expect beautifully stunning surroundings as well as luxurious comfort! The hot tub outside was super and it was very nice to have a dip after exploring the other side of the island in Oia, before heading down to the local square for dinner (3/4/5 minute walk. Slightly longer coming back) not far at all!! When researching before coming to Santorini I read that Taxis were spars, however Katerina offered a Taxi service so there is no need to worry about getting about! She is on hand all the time for anything and she really made our stay the best it could be! She has a lot of knowledge of the island so we found her useful because we hadn’t never been before. The breakfast is wonderful, we’ve never had a breakfast quite like it before! We were picked up and dropped off for free also (airport run). In short, visit this place as you’ll have an experience of a life time as well as a luxurious stay with a great host.

Sjarmerende unik overnatting i Vakre Pyrgos.

Vi er en familie på 4 som var på gjennomreise på Santorini og startet med 2 overnattinger her. Barnarna storkoste seg i boblebadet ute, ble litt lite i lengden. Pyrgos er en sjarmerende labyrint av trange smug mellom di hvite vakre husa.. Og litt oppi høyden lå leiligheten som var perfekt, rent og fint, deilig seng og godt utstyrt av det du måtte trenge dersom du vil lage deg mat. Katerina som er verten hadde fylt opp kjøleskap og kjøkken med utrolig masse godt. For en velkomst! Hun var utrolig hjelpsom og ga oss all informasjon som var nyttig å vite. Om morningen fikk vi ferske bakevarer til frokost servert på døra. I Juli måned er det veldig varmt og det finnes nesten ikke et vindpust utenfor villaen. Men aircondition holdt villaen nedkjølt. Vil abselutt anbefale alle til å stoppe innom å oppleve denne Villaen og Pyrgos for noen dager. Helt fantastisk sted!

Perfection - stay here!

What a wonderful idyll in the perfect town of Pyrgos. Katerina was delightful and made our family feel right at home, despite the last-minute booking. Breakfast was delicious and the extra additions - such as helping us with our very heavy luggage - made this our favourite place to stay in Santorini. Don’t go to the crowded, touristy town of Oia, head here instead and enjoy the best of the best of the island.

Le meilleur séjour de notre voyage en Grèce. Une réservation à la toute dernière minute. Un accueil très chaleureux et au petit soin. Un appartement au charme de l'île. Pause jacuzzi extérieur géniale, avec beaucoup plus d'intimité que les jacuzzis proposés à Oia. Petit dej adapté à nos préférences. et propose de déposer à l'aéroport. Fantastic family-run establishment, great service!

Our stay here was a highlight of our trip. Beautiful, unique accommodations and excellent service. We loved the hand-delivered breakfast each morning, the attention to detail, and the helpful arrangements for transfers to/from the airport and our dinner cruise. The hot tub/pool was fabulous! The open roof was great for laying out. My wife worked on her tan while I enjoyed the large shade umbrella and fresh breeze. The rooms are a short walk uphill but definitely worth it. Kudos to the gentleman who carried the luggage up & down for us. We enjoyed our stay and wished we could have stayed another couple of days. Looking forward to our next visit here!

A Charming Escape

I loved this place. It was located towards the top of Pyrgos village and away from all of the crowds. It was very private and quiet and just what I needed. Katerina was wonderful. She answered any question I had from the beginning to the end. The breakfast was delivered every morning and was plentiful and yummy. The hot tub was a perfect way to unwind after a full day sight seeing. The only negative I would say would be if you have a physical limitation it may be difficult to get to the villa (it is a bit of a walk up the hill), but I loved the exercise.

Cozy cave villa. Beautiful interior, wonderful breakfast, friendly staff. The road to the hotel is steep but it’s worth it. When the weather is good, the view from top of the roof is fantastic. Catering took care of everything we wanted very quickly, she is the best.

The resort staff - Katarina was great. Communicated with us and helped us in making the best of our visit. The villa is a one bedroom cave house on the cliffs of Pygros. It is not the central tourist location but gave an excellent experience of life in Santorini.

Lovely but hilly!

Great space for experiencing Santorini more like a local and without the hustle and bustle of tourists teeming through Fira :) Lost one star as a bit of a hike to the villa and this was not an easy climb BUT spectacular views once the top was reached. Katerina was polite and friendly but a bit hard to reach on the phone (although she always called back). Good option for a quiet relaxing stay. I think this should have been advertised as an Aparthotel though, it was self catering and no options for lunch/dinner but breakfast was fresh and delicious!

Excellent choice

We just spent one night there but it was our best part of the trip. Such a nice clean neighborhood away from the typical crowds of oia and fira but has its own little charm. Island is small so you are not too far from anything but this villa is just very calm. It seemed brand new to us and was very clean. We landed late and the welcome water and cookies were very refreshing. Kristina is a wonderful host and she brought us a nice warm breakfast. We were staying with the kids and she was so friendly w them As well. She guided us well to spend a beautiful day in santorini and booked us a semi private boat ride w dinner. She was also kind enough to drop us to fira. Transport was arranged from hotel without any difficulty. There was a gentleman standing at the airport w our name tag. We didn't use the drop off service as we were able to get to the airport ourselves. Over all our experience was great and if we return to santorini we will likely stay at the villa again.
