Our stay at La Maltese Private House was fantastic! There were 4 of us, so we stayed in a villa with a private pool. It had 3 levels and breathtaking views of the caldera and sunset. Aside from the private pool, our favorite was the shaded outdoor dining area. We didn't leave the villa much, since we were traveling with my 85 year old mom. So all but 2 of our meals were eaten in our private al fresco dining area. And did I mention the entire staff was AMAZING! The manager, Kostas, was very attentive to my mother's needs. Thank you for a most memorable stay!

WORST PLACE EVER!!! DO NOT STAY HERE!!! I have NEVER written a BAD review and I travel several times a year but I am taking the time out of my busy day to review this review as it was AWFUL!!! We had NO HOT WATER during our entire stay. Despite telling the manager on our first night, nothing was done to resolve the issue. We went back to manager the second day and he said he would give us a refund after he spoke to owner. More lies and deception. He never got back to me and did not reply to my emails. I involved Expedia who contacted manager who again said he would issue a refund for one night stay. He stopped responding to Expedia and never issued refund. These people are con artist. The service was horrible. Be prepared to wait for hours for your food if you have breakfast or dinner there and it was ridiculously overpriced and the food was not good. The place was not at all as advertised online. The communication could not have been worse. This is the only place we stayed at during our 2 week vacation in Greece that was not great about communicating and incredibly helpful. We rated every other place we stayed at with 5 stars. We rated this place with one star only because zero was not an option. Constantino (manager) is dishonest and knowingly rents out this place that is in poor condition and poorly maintained and falsely advertised. It is disgraceful that they are getting away with charging people full price to stay at dilapidated and run down place.

No primeiro dia ficamos numa vila dentro do hotel, quarto bem simples e somente ar condicionado na sala. No segundo ficamos em uma vila afastada 5min do hotel com vista para o nascer do sol (não para o pôr do sol como é no hotel). Tem que pegar carro para tomar café da manhã e o quarto, apesar de muito novo e com boa decoração, o quarto é muito claro e conjugados. O café da manhã é a lá carte com boas opções e ótima qualidade, mas o atendimento é ruim e muito demorado. No último dia demorou 45 minutos para chegar. A vista do por sol do hotel é maravilhosa e a localização muito boa
