Convenient location for dinning, and the hotel grounds are cute, but it’s way too loud to sleep because the room is right next to the State street. Ppl are out there party until 3am. They offered earbuds in the room, but the street noises are way too loud even with all windows closed. The hotel could invest in double soundproofing windows for the room… Don’t recommend it if you need a place to sleep.

I'll come back every time I come to Santa Barbara.
Let me say that I really really like this hotel. The outdoor space is so fun, the location is one block off of State Street, the rooms are nicely done, and I can bring my dog! There is easy parking right next door (you have to pay, but cheap for Santa Barbara). I like using my phone as a room key. The room is well appointed and has little touches like a wine bottle opener. The fire place in each room is nice, too! My only downside is that they require you to upload a picture of your driver's license and credit card. I didn't actually mind doing this AT the property, but I wasn't about to trust a link that came to my phone from an unknown phone number. It might be nice to let travelers know that it IS okay to do it upon arrival if they are wary of getting their information stolen. I'll come back every time I come to Santa Barbara. Such a great hotel for the price.
