"One of the nicest places we have stayed in Italy. The cottage we were in was beautiful. Every part of the property is clean and well maintained and staff is very friendly and helpful. "

"We enjoyed five night at this well situated hotel, right on the main square and within easy walking distance to the beaches and nightlife. Also within walking distance to the train station and main bus stop. Rooms come in very different sizes. Our double room was clean and comfortable with a very good mattress. There is a small refrigerator and a lock box in the room, along with a tv. Maid service was efficient and friendly. The hotel staff were very friendly and the breakfast is good. The sons of the founder run the hotel and the one I met was attentive and welcoming. The three women at the front desk were all very helpful, and multilingua, with at least English and German among them. "

"First of all, i didn’t stay at The Rooms. They put me at one of their other properties, which, if it were summer and I was a poor college kid vacationing with friends, would have been fine. But other than the location and the entryway, this Air B&B was not good! The bedding was old, worn and stained. The toilet seat was broken, the towel warmer didn’t work, the fridge barely worked so my yogurts were warm, the shower was the size of a phone booth and there were absolutely NO amenities! Nothing! I had to go out into the “lobby” to use the kettle and there was no coffee… only tea. If I had booked this place, i wouldn’t complain, but I booked the other place because the rooms looked nice and there was a coffee maker in the room. This place had a nice view of the sea but it was mostly rainy and cold as it is February… so what was the point of this “upgrade”? The one thing I can say is that the manager/proprietor was responsive when I texted him and he did bring me a wine opener when I asked for one, even though it was too late because he didn’t bring it when i asked and i went out and got one from the wine store…🙄 They need to do some serious upgrades to these rooms! "

"We had a very good stay. We reserved a room for persons with disabilities, it was rather tight although very clean and suitable to our needs. However, we strongly suggest adding a curtain/barrier to the shower, a water spill in the bathroom poses a slippery/accident risk for people in a wheelchair and their helpers. If you bring a car be aware that parking could be difficult, we were fortunate to find a spot reserved for hotel guests across the street. Breakfast was good and being close to local restaurants was a great benefit. Everyone was very kind and helpful. Grazie Andrea e Luca, vi siamo molto grati!"

"It was a beautiful hotel. Vistas were great. November is pretty dead in Gasperina. Not a lot of options for restaurants or activities. "

The location is perfect for exploring. Just a few steps from the main piazza, restaurants, cafes, and the historic castle, yet tucked away enough to feel peaceful and private. If you’re visiting southern Italy and want a boutique hotel that offers style, service, and soul — Piccolo Grand Hotel is the place. We can’t wait to return!"

"Long-ish wait to check-in due to no one being at the front desk. Rooms are fine. Lots of noise outside at night with teenagers screaming until 1 a.m."
