"It is no wonder this is such a popular resort. The staff were outstanding…too many to mention, but here are a few: Lovina buffet restaurant), Rose (housekeeping), Kershana (activities) and yoga master Vernon! Food was great, esp on the Verandah and Trattoria. Only negative was Hermina at the reservations desk…her blunt negative attitude stood out amongst everyone else’s easy, friendly demeanour. The resort did a commendable job clearing out the sargassum each morning. And it was a pleasant surprise to play on four dedicated pickleball courts. Overall, while our Adults Only section gave us the quiet relaxing vibe we wanted, it was fun to see all the kids and parents enjoying themselves in the waterpark, at the pool and around the Cove. "Our room was EXTREMELY small, the bathroom door could not close all the way. The entry door had serious gaps in it, looked unsafe. The air conditioner started to stop working just before we left, not enough sockets to plug up devices and watch tv. Ride to and from airport was $20, which we were not informed of and it was only 2-4 miles from airport"

"Banbou Terrace was everything we hoped it would be and more! It all starts with the best host ever…Ruphena…who was a joy to meet. Ruphena provided very helpful info about the area and checked in with us via text during our stay. The property itself was lovely. We felt safe inside the gated property. We stayed in the two bedroom unit on the top floor. We tend to cook a good bit when we travel. The fully furnished full kitchen is such a great benefit. The King bedroom with attached roomy full bathroom were wonderful. The AC works well and cools quickly. The living area was comfy and dining area was more than adequate for our needs. We didn’t use the second King bedroom and very roomy full bath, but they are excellent as well. The two exterior features also help to make this property what it is. The rooftop terrace provides ample seating and stunning views of the surrounding area and the sea. The pool on the lower floor is a great place to chill after a day of exploring. If you’re trying to decide between this property or another, you need to go ahead and make it happen. The 10/10 rating didn’t happen on its on. This is THAT place! Thanks again, Ruphena!"

"We had a great stay at Castles in Paradise. We stayed in Villa 7 which has its own private pool with a beautiful covered, shady patio as well as 3 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. There is a beautiful view of Savannes Bay from the villa. Bonnie, Giselle and Avril made us feel welcome and provided advice about things to see and do on the island. They really provide top notch customer service. You need a car here so you can see the island. The resort is about a 10 min drive to UVF airport. There is an amazing fine dining restaurant near the airport called Fayes Gastronomie Artisan which is not to be missed. Fayes also has a gourmet market where you can buy high quality provisions for your stay. Fayes has meats, fish, fruit, vegetables, snacks, drinks and a wine shop so you can stock your fridge at Castles in Paradise (our villia had a full kitchen) in case you don't want to eat out all the time. There are also local grocery stores. There are also beach bars/restaurants about 10-15 min away and also Kayak on the Bay about 20 min in the other direction in Praslin for a wonderful activity. This is a great place to stay in St.Lucia if you prefer a quiet peaceful property away from the more touristy crowd in the north of the island. We drove to other parts of the island but if you don't feel comfortable driving on the left on curvy roads, I think you can hire a driver for your trips away from the property. "

The space was impeccably clean, the bed was so comfortable, the kitchen was fully equipped with everything you need if you decide to cook and the host was so so helpful especially for the first two days I was there! The accommodations and management of the property did not meet the reasonable expectations of transparency, consistency, and professionalism typically associated with hospitality services. During the stay, irregularities arose relating to the organization and oversight of the premises. These included confusion regarding operational management, inconsistencies surrounding the availability of the reserved accommodation, and a lack of clear communication regarding guest arrangements. The accommodation originally reserved was not available for the full duration anticipated, resulting in temporary arrangements prior to an adjustment being made later in the reservation period. Additional concern arose regarding guest privacy and the safeguarding of personal belongings. Communication was made regarding a personal item believed to have been left behind after departure. Despite reasonable inquiry, no response or resolution was provided regarding its recovery. "Room with balconies was beautiful with a beautiful view of ocean. Lorraine (the owner) went above and beyond, driving us to a restaurant and taking us on a tour. She is a very sweet lovely lady, and provided coffee and treats. "
