"Best thing about this place is the location. It is in the middle of a bunch of shops and restaurants and right next to the beach. Place feels very safe. staff is friendly but sometimes slow at the lobby. Worst thing is the food the food has very little flavor. And they don't offer room service."

"We love Mio Nayarit! This is our second time staying there this year and we can’t wait to come back for our 3rd visit. I’m sad to leave. The rooftop is an oasis, the rooms are clean and comfortable, we had a beautiful river view, and it’s a short walk to the beach and great restaurants. Such a safe neighborhood. The staff are all kind and helpful! It’s become our home away from home… I guess that’s why they call it Mio (my) Hotel. Much gracias to Carlos and everyone who made our stay unforgettable! "

"Very nice hotel don’t get my wrong nice pools drinks were good staff was very friendly but did have some cons , first of all when we check in the don’t tell us to make sure to take care of those pool card or you will be charged for them they however do make sure to mention that there is no reservations for restaurants but then when you try to go to steak house you have to be there at 6:00 to have your name written down for the wait but then half of the resturant is empty and they don’t let you go in after 7:45 !!!! Would I go back probably not but not bad for the price you pay I guess you get what you pay for ."

"Overall couldn't be happier with our stay. Travelled with 3 children ages 11, 14 and 15. There was always something going on to do. The entertainment team was amazing. Food was good, no reservations but had no issues getting in where we wanted to. The renovations are great. For the price couldn't ask for anything more from this resort. DON'T MISS THE MICHAEL JACKSON SHOW"

"We enjoyed staying at Mio. The room we had was spacious and on the 9th floor, we had a great view. The outdoor, rooftop pool was really nice, especially at sunset. Staff members were very kind and we can recommend staying here. "

"Title: Constructive Feedback on Recent Stay – Areas for Improvement I recently stayed at this property and wanted to leave balanced, honest feedback to help both the hotel and future guests. While I appreciate the team’s efforts, several issues impacted my comfort and overall experience. The room itself was not fully ready upon arrival. The duvet cover had a prominent red-brown stain that strongly resembled a blood stain. This was concerning from a hygiene perspective and should have been caught during housekeeping turnover. Temperature control was another challenge. The air conditioning was unable to cool the room adequately despite being reported to the front desk. The space remained uncomfortably warm throughout the stay. One evening we lost water pressure for over two hours, eliminating the possibility of taking a shower. The issue was finally resolved close to 10:00 p.m., which was quite inconvenient. In addition, the bathroom was missing facecloths upon check-in. The swimming pools were noticeably murky with poor water clarity, making them unappealing for use. Regular maintenance or improved filtration appears to be needed. Smoking policies were not well enforced during my visit. Guests were smoking in various common areas, and I observed cigarette butts on the elevator floor—an enclosed public space—which affected the environment for non-smokers.
