Very family friendly and as grandparents bringing our daughter and grandchildren we shared many special and forever memories. However, if it were just my husband and I, we would have chosen a more adult oriented resort. We were spoiled by the service and attention received at the Riu in Cabo last year.

I recently stayed at Riu Jalisco. Overall, it was a good vacation for the price. The staff really did their best — they were always friendly and worked hard to keep everything clean and tidy. However, the hotel itself definitely needs some renovation and updates, as some areas feel a bit old and worn out. Despite that, if you’re looking for a budget-friendly all-inclusive, it’s still a decent choice.
