"I had a wonderful one-night stay at the Fairfield by Marriott in Alajuela. From the moment I arrived, the staff was warm, professional, and genuinely welcoming, making check-in quick and effortless. The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, especially for travelers needing easy access to the airport while still being close to local restaurants and shopping. My room was spotless, modern, and very comfortable. The bed provided an excellent night's sleep, and I appreciated the thoughtful amenities and quiet atmosphere. Everything was well maintained, and it was clear that cleanliness and guest comfort are top priorities. The complimentary breakfast was a great way to start the day, offering a nice variety of fresh and tasty options. I also appreciated the overall efficiency of the hotel, which made my short stay stress-free and enjoyable. What stood out most was the exceptional customer service. Every employee I encountered was friendly, attentive, and eager to help. Even though my stay was brief, I felt valued as a guest. I often stay at and highly recommend the Fairfield by Marriott Alajuela to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and conveniently located hotel with outstanding service. "Very good location - easy to go into La Fortuna and other attractions. Out room is the Volcano Room which is basically a duplex connected with another half of villa. It is the front row of the villas with direct volcano cone view off the patio (we only see the volcano once in three days due to cloud and rain in the rainy season) the room is spacious, clean and well equipped with an oversized washroom. The management also provided a chocolate plate as a welcome gift, which is a nice touch. However we found the hot springs ponds not warm enough ( which was improved the next two days) the regular hot tub is much warmer in comparison…also the included breakfast is under par with non fresh fruits and foods. We still tipped the omelette station anyhow."

The scenery is gorgeous: hot springs, rivers, trees, flowers. Daily housekeeping: linens, towels, bathrobes are replaced by fresh and clean ones. Wonderful staff who payed close attention to our needs: Maria❤️🌸, Enersto, Ericka , Nathalie , Kimberly, Roberto, Gretchen , Emma , Karen. ( sorry I forgot some names). Staff of Thermo et Colibri restaurants; tour guy, the spa’s ladies; thank you💕. Driver Norman; thank you for driving us from Chachagua to Guanacaste safely. Thank you to the wonderful staff of Chachagua Rainforest resort for making our stay so memorable and unforgettable❤️."
