"The pools were surprisingly cold and not very well kept. Not much within walking distance. The interiors were in good shape, but the exterior of the building is dated and worn out."

As a result, I was too ill to check my email and cancel this reservation. Therefore I forfeited the entire amount of my reservation. I understand that these are the terms of the contract I agreed to when I made my reservation. Therefore, I hold no ill will to Holiday Inn or Hotels.com. Hopefully, the next time I need to travel to Costa Rica to assist my sister I will stay healthy and accomplish my mission including a stay at the Holiday Inn in Alajuela."
