I stay here each year for the wildflower triathlon. It's a solid place. The heating/cooling system was broken in my room this time, but I'll still stay here again. It's clean and the beds/pillows are comfortable

The Oaks Hotel Paso Robles
We met the staff once at breakfast on our last day. Otherwise at our check in there was no one. Not the greatest of welcomes. I would have rated the hotel a 4 star but it just needs a facelift. The shower and lovely bathtub was inviting but the water pressure so low it would have taken hours to fill ...
