The area is a a little sketchy as there are a lot bars nearby. The security of the building is also not the best, when we arrived We were told that the opening glass doors had been malfunctioning. Therefore, the security guard would have to let us in and out, and then we would be closed in until the next person came in for their shift.

Just wrapped up a great stay at Olimpo Hotel & Suites and I’m already planning my return. The hotel sits in Miramar, one of San Juan’s most charming neighborhoods—think tree-lined streets, cozy cafés, and tons of dining and entertainment options within an easy walk. Parking was a breeze, which made coming and going stress-free. The location is seriously tough to beat: in just minutes you can be in Old San Juan, at Distrito T-Mobile for shows and restaurants, or lounging on gorgeous beaches. The property itself feels fresh and comfortable—quiet rooms, welcoming staff, and the kind of vibe that makes you want to extend your trip. If you’re looking for a base that’s convenient, relaxed, and perfectly placed to explore the city, I truly recommend this stay!

We arrived early and they were nice enough to take my luggage before check in time. When we came back, there was no one at the reception and I did not receive an email with the check in instructions, and I was not the only one. I tried to call them multiple time and got voice mail each time, they finally called me back and sent me the instructions. I had also try to contact them through Expedia before the trip but got no answers. The room and balcony are not as spacious as the pictures. The elevator looks great, but it’s sketchy and didn’t work half the time. The AC was loud, and it’s very not well insulated, we could was hear the other rooms. There was a room connect to ours by a door on the inside that we could see the light at night as well as the slightest sound such as a cough, talking or TV. The cleaning staff were nice and tried to help us. They did not seem to have any communication with management to answer most questions about our check in issues. I booked thinking I could hangout on the roof terrace, but it was closed… which was not indicated at booking, so I was disappointed. They did reach out by email asking how everything was going, they gave me a warm blanket and showed me how the shower works!

Le probleme se situait avec les communications. Nous avons demandé un acces plus tot et n'avons jamais eu de retour (sauf pour nous dire qu'ils allaient transmettre notre demande). De plus, nous deviojs avoir le code d'acces pour entrer a 15h, en vue d'un acces a 16h. Avons du contacter le service clientele Expedia pour l'obtenir et n'avons recu les infos texto que tres plus tard. Le numero de chambre qu'on nous a attribué n'etait pas le bon. Il y avait quelqu'un a la reception de l'hotel alors qu'on nous avait dit que c'etaot une reception virtuelle. Et finalement, la chambre ne valait pas du tout le 315$ payés. J'aurais payé maximum 80$ pour un tel endroit...

The room reeks of bleach and lemon and cleaning supplies. The previous guest hair is stuck to the walls in the bathroom… I wish there was a way to take a picture and show it. You hear every flush of the toilet from every room all night long. Also sounds like people are moving furniture throughout the complex all night and all day you can hear it literally from the start to the end of my stay. Everything is slimy from the residue from the cleaning supplies, countertops cabinets even the remote bathroom is extremely dirty hair and dirt everywhere. Honestly, if you can make it through TSA, I would say sleep at the airport.

Fue mi primera vez hospedándose, el hotel y la habitación son bonitas. El ascensor no funcionaba y se me hizo difícil subir las maletas. Al ser mi primera vez había cosas que no sabía como funcionaban y un empleado no me hizo sentir cómodo, esperaba más cordialidad y empatía. El otro detalle era que las sábanas tenían pelo y manchadas. Por lo demás todo bien, el de valer parking muy servicial y una dama que estaba en el front desk excelente servicio

En la noche del sábado-Domingo estuvieron realizando trabajos de reparación desde temprano en la noche hasta las 3:20 am; con mandarías demoliendo techo o paredes y con movimientos de trabajos que NO me dejaron dormir. Se hace muy difícil juntarse con algún personal del hatel.

Una experiencia que no se la deseo a nadie. El mismo día que realicé la reserva le escribí informándoles que llegaría tarde a mi checking y nadie me respondió. Al llegar al hotel la gran sorpresa NO TENÍA RESERVA HECHA WOW! 10 de la noche estaba en la calle porque también hay que tener un codigo de acceso que deben enviarte porque no hay recepción en el hotel. Si me recibes mi dinero te lo cobraste, pero no me enviaste mi código ni confirmación de reserva que pésimo servicio no se lo recomiendo a nadie. Escribí inmediatamente al personal de Expedia para que me devuelvan mi dinero por la falta de respeto que acababan de hacer con nosotros.
