"Excellent location steps from Crypto Arena and LALive! Beautiful historic building, small rooms for the single traveler with larger options available. Clean and quaint, though if you want a view, make sure to make note of it in your special requests. Quiet despite being filled with concert goers on a hot summer weekend. Very friendly staff; room was serviced without prompting and a comfortable bed with TV. Some disrepair noticed in the bathroom with strange shower knobs; water pressure wasn’t the best/rainfall shower head. Loved the different eating options, though not a lot of really cheap or quick food available here. Beautiful outdoor pool; would prefer more free seating options rather than paid cabanas as there’s only ten or so free loungers for the entire hotel which fill up quick on busy afternoons. Elevators can be slow and take a bit of time to arrive if there are lots of people coming and going. Downtown LA location means downtown LA happenings (unhoused on the sidewalk, lots of traffic, city odor, ect.). Hotel has security present 24-7, so I felt very safe my entire stay. Would stay here again!"
