I booked the hotel with Expedia, after I made the reservation I called the hotel and a young lady on the phone said to me that they don’t have rooms. How Expedia took the reservation. And she said that she will cancel the Expedia reservation. The worst part is that I trust this woman on the hotel reservation desk frustrated because she didn’t cancel without penalty.

The staff was amazing even though I showed up during the Microsoft outage. Being in gaslamp this hotel is fighting a losing battle with noise and mess. During my stay I was harassed numerous times each night when approaching the property.

Overall, great experience. Closest to PetCo for sure. Everything you’d expect from a Marriott property. Only issue was room service. I chose this property because of the room service option and I attempted to order twice and twice was not able to get it. Internal phone system zero’d out to room service. The front desk connected me with the same result and no solution when I went to the front desk.

Great place to stay. Super location, gaslamp area is the best. And right next to Petco Park. One problem, increasingly an issue that I see. Very nice, higher end property like this, and a little fridge is too much to ask? I don't get it.

We stayed there 4th of July rather than sit in traffic after the fireworks. It’s a 10 minute walk from the Shell or bay, two minute walk from all kinds of restaurants and bars, it was quiet inside, clean, and the staff was very nice. We will stay there again

Didnt know self parking would cost more than a valet, which is $60! Quite pricey for a night. Had I known earlier I would have booked across. The TV in room is lower than rhe bed and remote wont work beyond a foot away since the height is so low. Also, the rooftop restuarant is 21 amd over which we had no idea, were hoping to get food there with a 17yr old, turned back to head outside after 10pm for food.
