Great place to stay SD, many attractions within walking distance. Unfortunately our car was crashed into while parked in their parking lot, however the security was quick to notify the hotel who then notified us, which was very appreciated.

I walk to the front desk to check in and when asked if I will be needing parking, a rude employee sitting next to the employee checking me in says “Just so you know, parking is $50.” I get checked in and am assigned a room on the bottom floor right on the street of downtown San Diego where everyone can see in. There is no dresser, and the bathroom sink is in the bedroom. It’s right across from where the maids keep all their cleaning supplies so there are cleaning carts everywhere in the hallway and the maids are loud and talking very early in the morning and I can hear everything. I’ve actually never left a poor review, but this experience was not great for my son and I. The only good part was the compliment breakfast which was pretty good actually.

Location is convenient. Staff was very welcoming and friendly. Our room was clean, well appointed and more than adequate for our short stay. It was pleasant to enter the room and be greeted by a fresh scent rather than the usual stale, unaired smell of rooms in this category of hotels. Parking is somewhat pricey.
