"Horrible room, dirt and grime everywhere. Sticky floor. Bed clearly just remade after previous guests or squatters, black hairs and pubes. Bed cushion had ominous stains! Slept fully clothed! No WiFi code despite being the selling point and even requesting it. Was told to let them know if arriving after 9pm or they couldn’t help with anything, which I did, but no response to wifi question! Weird selection of a couple of old forks, bowls, mug and the kettle didn’t work and smelled like someone...

I phoned the contact number on the booking confirmation only to find it was an office and nobody was there, so I left a message, I never had a reply. I rang Hotels.com, who were very helpful. But they were unable to get me a refund. I had not read the reviews for the place, but I sugest that if you want to make booking...

"There was a problem with the room. But they did move us. I don't think Pets should be allowed in a hotel like this, we were moved as the room next door had a barking dog.
Otherwise, beautiful grounds and rooms. Staff at breakfast very welcoming, good quality food. Spa was clean. And a good stay"
"The hotel appeared clean but there was a musty smell throughout the hotel that smelled like they are putting febreeze over it so it was kind of a weird smell. Our air conditioning didn't work and we called the front desk 3 times and it was never fixed, nobody contacted us about it, and our windows wouldn't open. It was hot and musty and we all slept with no covers on because it was so hot in our room. The pillows and bedding felt cheap. The pillows were flat and hard, no fluff left in them at all. However, the plus side of things, it has a bar and you can get room service, there was a nice restaurant inside, and it was almost right next door to the mall which is very walkable so there are a number of food and beverage options. The staff was nice and very helpful. The only issue with the staff was that nothing was done about the ac situation."
"Arriving you have to climb 8or so steeps and there was zero help with the luggage. Then you have to drive your car to a parking lot which is 5 minutes by car (as so many one-way streets) and then 5 minutes walk back. Arrived and people at front desk were kind and helpful (other than lack of bellmany but office door open, paper shredder working overtime, and it wasn't the wonderful experience I had hoped on first entry. Rooms well appointed with water and soft drinks (not a single biscuit or crisp -strange) but all in all nice, but not up to top par as it suggests Location perfect but please "fix how we enter our stay as it set the tone in the wrong way" and give me a biscuit for my tea in the morning"
"Great friendly professional staff. In a great location with bars and restaurants just outside. Ate in the 6th floor restaurant which had great views and quality food. Mention to Stefan concierge who helped with our questions."
