"One of the loveliest stays we have experienced in a unique place. The peniche is exquisite and cosy. Some people might not like sharing the common spaces with other guests. However, we had the place to ourselves 2 nights in a row and met lovely people at the breakfast table. A place like no others. There could be more comfortable chairs in the living room if the weather was inclement."

"Great hotel close to so much! Nice quiet location but close to the central town. There was a snaffu at check-in, which is why I took off a star, but she was new staff and it was rectified and cleared up after I spoke to reception. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone."

"Great atmosphere. Really helpful staff. Enjoyed a delicious evening meal. The weather was really stuffy on my visit and opening the window only served to let bugs in. Could have done done with a fan maybe. "
