"I stayed here for 2 days. Firstly, hotels.com forgot to send me late check-in instructions, which I emailed them about. The room was ok. The pillow was really uncomfortable. There is no lock on the room. Shower was ok. I wake up to construction noise in the morning. There is no proper kitchen and if someone is cooking you can smell it from your bed. "

"The hostel is new and very nicely designed in a good area, 1 block from Zurriola surf beach and under 10 min walk to the old town. Bare essentials kitchen and good wifi everywhere. There is a bar/cafe downstairs and the actual dorms are right next door in a residential apartment so you need to be peaceful in there. The owners David and Haritz are two of the nicest, hospitable guys you'll ever meet who will make your stay a memorable one. Also try the salmon toastie!"

"I liked my stay. Being a solo female traveller, I never felt threatened about my safety here. The hosts are very friendly. It is an amazing place to hangout with friends or making new friends. The idea of putting 1 € in the donate box placed over the top of the refrigerator and grabbbing any can/bottle of beer or ice-cream from the fridge was one of the thing I liked the most. "Great place to stay if your considering walking the Camino de Santiago from france to spain. The location couldnt have been better. Room was clean and comfortable with a balcony looking out toward the Pyrenees. Mountains. We arrived earlier than check in time and our host was able accomadate us and store our bags while we went exploring the little town of St. Jean Pied de Port. Also the Compostela office was right next door do that we could register and start our journey the next day. Simple...

"Share facilities can differ dependant on guest using at the time. however there are house rules given to you on arrival which you sign a recognition form stating a fine if you break house rules. My experience... drunk males & females shouting down the hallways to each other, people violently vomiting into the toilets, used condoms left in bathroom/toilets & paper thin walls that you can hear every sound. This was not in dorms this was private rooms with shared bathrooms"

"Upon arrival - greeted with extremely friendly staff, and this continued throughout the stay. We came to surf, and found that this hotel was situated perfectly between both main beaches. We stayed in room 702 and had a beautiful view of the ocean. Loads to do in the area, for both the dry and odd wet day that we experienced! Definitely looking forward to coming back to Biarritz, but more importantly to Le Grand Large 🏄‍♂️🏄‍♀️"
