Absolutely fantastic stay- cannot recommend the place high enough. Very spacious and restaurant was top quality local produce

The hotel was a chateau which had been completely refurbished about a year ago. Restaurant was great as was the breakfast. However the room we chose was a de lux garden view room but was far from being a garden view it looked over the court yard. The manager did offer to change our room the second night but as we were only there 2 nights I declined but he did treat us to cocktails so no complaints. 2 great days in Normandy.

Beautiful place - very clean and comfortable. Probably the most comfortable bed over an 18 night tour. Owner is very helpful and polite - lovely breakfast provided by him. Have stayed here before and came back which is a recommendation in itself. Five stars.

Didn’t have breakfast but had a superb evening meal. Sometimes a short menu can ensure quality. Didn’t have time for the golf course but looked beautiful.

Our stay at Le Clos St Jean was wonderful! Caroline and Laurent are friendly and warm, and they take good care of the property and their guests. I was blown away by the beauty of their place. The fresh, warm croissants, pastries, bread, yogurts, cheese, and fruit, along with the local juices and jams, made for a wonderful breakfast. I only wish we would have had more time to spend relaxing in their lovely space. If I find myself in Normandy again, I will definitely have to stay here another...

Perfect, perfect, perfect. We stayed here one night and wish we had stayed longer. The best place to stay if you plan to visit any ww2 sites in Normandy. The host was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were tastefully decorated...not over the top. The bathrooms were modern and spotlessly clean as were the bedrooms, the bedding was really good quality and most important for us the mattress was super comfortable. Amazing, comfortable, immaculate, modern and spacious, an absolute gem within a quiet, historic, picturesque setting with welcoming and friendly hosts. Truly great breakfast featuring local produce. Town, museums and restaurants a short drive away.

Great trip

We had a lovely stay. The owners were very nice and helpful and made an extra effort to provide me with gluten-free crepes at breakfast. The rest of the breakfast was also excellent. I would recommend it and will stay there again if I am in the area.

Clean and functional room with air conditioning. Towels and soap included. No kettle for hot drinks. A pay for hot & cold drinks / snack machine in the foyer. A good selection of continental breakfast with excellent coffee / hot drinks dispenser. Friendly staff with reasonable / good English. A clean hotel with plenty of parking. Easy to find on outskirts of Saint Lo. There was an ok Italian restaurant next door and a grill restaurant on the same block. A McDonald restaurant near by.

Great staff. Stunning location with fantastic sea views from the rooms at the front. Plenty of parking opposite the hotel.

Long weekend break to visit Normandy beaches and some of the military cemeteries. Ideally placed, bags of character and not too expensive. Helped by the weather which for the end of October was fantastic.

Fantastic location, very comfy hotel with lovely staff. Right on the beach and prefect for visiting Omaha Beach and D Day landing history.
