DoubleTree by Hilton Sacramento
The front desk staff worked slowly, which led to long wait times. The hotel advertises 24-hour in-room dining, but this is not accurate—service is often unavailable when the restaurant is busy. I would recommend avoiding this property during peak season, as you may frequently be told “no.”

Vagabond Inn Executive Old Town
Great budget friendly place to stay within a short walk to Old Town Sacramento. Clean room with a comfortable bed and a nice complimentary breakfast of bagels and pastries. The only downside was that it was a bit noisy with the freeway nearby.
