"The cottages are well maintained and the property is well kept up. There are dining and shopping options within walking distance or a really short drive away. There were more businesses open and more being rebuilt. Chimney Rock is close by and worth checking out. The lake is refilled and the beach area offers a lot besides swimming"

"As always, the Lake Lure Inn was a delight. They used to have continental breakfast but weren’t offering during this stay. Always enjoyed the continental breakfast and it added value to the many stays there. We look forward to its return. In its absence we thoroughly enjoyed delicious breakfasts at a fairly new restaurant called The 828."

"the property and condo where great. they don't tell you that you need to drive everywhere to do their activies which was a big hassle. and then they don't tell you it is $12,00 per person per day to use any facility in the resort. it is not just a short walk to anything . I will probably not stay there again"

It seemed to be an older hotel but he rooms were clean, spacious, and well-maintained, with comfortable beds and modern amenities. The staff was friendly, professional, and always willing to assist with any requests. The hotel's location was convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions, restaurants, and transportation. I also enjoyed the complimentary breakfast, which offered a good variety of fresh and tasty options. What stood out most was the excellent customer service and attention to detail that made my stay comfortable and enjoyable. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant and relaxing stay, and I would gladly return in the future."
