We stayed here because this hotel was away from the high prices of mid-town. The subway was not as close to the hotel as I thought but it was still walkable. The area was very quiet (perfect after an overnight plane flight). Our room was large, well-appointed, and a comfortable bed. The staff went above-and-beyond to be helpful!

It is a fine quiet room in a villa courtyard on the main street. The hosts were very accommodating and helpful with recommendations on what to see. Great convenience to the main center of town, restaurants and excellent breakfast every morning. Our visit to Palermo was fascinating and memorable because of them!

Excellent, clean and quiet place. Very safe, since it is nearby embassies. It is within 3 minutes of public transportation. The breakfast is varied and healthy.

I spent some time looking for a smaller, affordable boutique hotel, for a long term stay (2 weeks). Boy, did I hit the jackpot! The property itself - the building, the grounds, the patio, the landscaping - ooze charm and serenity. Ditto for the surrounding neighbourhood. There are plenty of dining options nearby, ranging from restaurants to fast-food outlets to grocery stores. Bologna Metro stop, on the Blue Line, is a 6-7 walk away, and will whisk you to the Colosseo, Vatican or Trastevere in mere minutes. The continental breakfast is excellent, and I fell in love with the freshly squeezed orange juice and just brewed filter coffee. Given the length of my stay, I got to know many of the staff. They were without fail, friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. Tip: check out the Mausoleo di Santa Constanza, dating from the late Roman age, just a short 10 minute walk north of the Villa. The architecture, mosaics and especially quiet - I found myself alone in the place - make for a special experience. A gem.

Fantastic stay at a great price!
I have spent nights in many a Roman hotel and none have been as pleasant as my stay at Villa Pirandello. The staff were all friendly and helpful, as spoke English well. The hotel itself was well maintained and attractively decorated. The room was spacious and well appointed, with comfortable beds and a great shower. The hotel was a short walk to a metro stop and was located in a quiet, safe neighborhood. Breakfast provided a diverse selection of food and beverages. I was very impressed.

The whole staff but especially Paz went out of their way to be helpful. They made us feel at home. Breakfast was wonderful. The room was comfortable and clean. The area was safe with easy access to the metro and buses.

My wife and I stayed 6 nights in this hotel in April-19. The staff are all amazing, they help, they are friendly, smiling and they go the extra mile to assist. The property is in a very good shape, the elevator caught out eye the moment we saw it. The room a bit small but clean and adequate, they did the daily cleaning, changing sheets perfectly. Their breakfast was good and they made the effort to accommodate our Vegan diet.

Very quiet and relaxing. Lovely buffet breakfast, including bacon and eggs. Also co nvenient for the Tiburtina railroad station, so one can avoid the crush at the main railroad station.

Great value for money + located in calm area
Came to Rome for the weekend and this place proved to be the most ideal choice for somewhere not too far from the city centre takes about 15 mins including walking to get to aroma Terminal from there) and of a decent standard. Room was fairly spacious, breakfast was as good as you’d normally expect and the staff were really nice and helpful. Don’t think you’ll find better for the prices seen for their rooms.

Modern hotel
My room was very modern and spacious. Great shower and bed. I left my stuff with the hotel as I arrived too early to check in. When I came back, my luggage had been moved into my room for me, and the room smelt lovely and fresh. The only downside is that this hotel is a little out of the way of the city, but I didn't mind so much as the train system is good and it's a quiet neighbourhood.

Great little find
Quiet area within 10mintue walk of metro. Great little hotel perfect for resting at night as you explore Rome by day! Definitely recommend to anyone travelling!

Wonderful little hotel
I depended upon reviews when I booked 2 nights in this hotel and I was not disappointed. Room was huge and staff great. Lovely cafe and outdoor space. It's close to Blue metro line so easy access everywhere. I'd highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Rome!

Oasis of peace in Rome
We were over in Rome for the Italy v Scotland rugby international ( March 2018) and stayed here. What a lovely find in the peaceful Embassy district of Nomamento. The hotel is small and intimate with friendly staff and an excellent breakfast which can be taken inside or on the terrace. This features home baking and excellent coffees. The rooms are comfortable, if somewhat on the warm side initially.

Charming Hotel
Villa Pirandello is a lovely hotel which provides a fantastic breakfast. From mini doughnuts to freshly sliced watermelon, it really is a continental delight! So nice that there are still hotels which don't charge extra for breakfast, and include it in the general cost. Really good location, approximately 10 minutes' walk from Bologna underground station. Could only really be improved by tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Also, shower gel, shampoo etc are included, although we couldn't find anything out about this before visiting. Also useful to know (especially if you're only taking hand luggage) that razors are also provided as part of bathroom toiletries!

Very nice and quiet location, close to subway (10 minutes walking from Bologna station), very friendly, helpful, and polite staff, very chic building and yard, with lots of jasmine and bougainvillea. The only thing I would quibble a little is about the shower cabin, which was too small. However, overall it was a great stay and my wife and I would revisit anytime.

Friendly hotel in nice, quiet neigborhood
Very nice hotel with very friendly and helpful stuff, great breakfast (and amazing sandwitches) in a street full of embassies. We liked our stay here a lot, it was 5-10 min away (with bus) from the most important sights.

Quiet, comfortable and great (free) breakfast
Charming hotel with delicious cafe breakfast about 10 mins walk from Bologna metro station. Front desk service was excellent, as was the breakfast staff. The hotel is a bit out of the way, but has the benefit of being quiet and in a very safe area, right across from the Qatar embassy (I think). The walk here from Roma Termini train station took 40 mins, which isn't bad but with luggage I'd recommend the 1.80EUR train. Thank you Villa Pirandello for a pleasant stay.

Quaint and Quiet
From the minute we arrived, fell in love with this wonderful hotel. We arrived early, so while waiting for our room to be readied, the staff was attentive to all our needs. Our room was very clean, well stocked and comfortable. It contained all the necessary amenities needed to make our stay enjoyable. The staff was overwhelmingly friendly, polite, professional and helpful. Calling for taxis and even confirming our various tour reservations was never a problem for them. The café was is a wonderful addition to the hotel. The food was extremely delicious and plentiful. The hotel is located outside the city center which is a wonderful advantage by which to end a busy day of sightseeing with a quiet, safe, and restful night sleep. All in all, five stars is not enough to rate our stay in this beautiful hotel. Thank you to all the staff for making our Roman dream come true.

Three night stay in Rome
this hotel is in a quiet residential /business area. An old property it has been tastefully modernised and has all the facilities you would expect. The room was pleasant and the bed very comfortable.In particular the staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good with lots of choice of things to eat.

It's a cute, quaint hotel, but far from downtown.
I spent just under a week here and I liked it. It's clean and streamlined, and the staff was helpful and friendly (although it seemed like only the ones working at the front desk spoke fluent English). It was convenient that there was an elevator, and the common balconies on the first and second floors were nice. It's located on the same street as the Yemeni embassy, so there were Italian soldiers standing guard around the hotel, which gave me a sense of security. It's far from the downtown area, though; I had to call Uber to take me from the hotel to either Via Condotti or the Termini station.

Beautiful and quiet getaway from Rome
We stayed here a few nights and our only wish was that we could have stayed longer! Friendly, warm and welcoming, the staff went out of their way to make us feel at home. They provided a map of the city, a quick walkthrough of Rome, and suggestions for areas to explore for dinner. It's located in a secluded, quiet area which was a very welcome relief after the chaos of central Rome. It is a bit far from the center but once you figure out how to use the public transportation, it's convenient to get around (Bologna metro stop is ~8-9 minutes away and the bus stop is right down the street). We took a bus from the Termini train station to the hotel and had no problems at all with finding it, so no need to stress.

Great staff makes a charming hotel even better
The staff at this hotel were wonderful! They were helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. Breakfast included great coffee, pastries, juice, fresh fruit, and much more in a very pleasant space. Alessandro was especially attentive and cheerful while making some of the best coffees in Rome.

Great stay at Villa Pirandello
Staff was very friendly an helpful in providing advices on what to visit and Howard to get there. Close to bus stops for lines to main attractions. Breakfast was very nice with great selection ou spécial juices and fruits. We will go back for sure when we go back to Rome.
