"This is a hotel different than any other we had ever stayed at. The price was awesome for a place to lay our heads for the night before an early flight. Really missed having coffee available in the morning, whether in the lobby or by having a coffee pot in our room (no microwave either), but the shower and water pressure was excellent."

"We had a wonderful stay! The staff are genuinely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was a step above the typical hotel continental breakfast. The rooms are spacious and well maintained. 2 minor areas for improvement: water pressure in our room (2nd floor) was very weak. The gym had good variety but is small; difficult to work out with more than 2 guests in the gym at a time. Location is 10-20 min from all the Sarasota attractions. 40 min to Anna Maria Island. Highly recommend!"

"This resort is beautiful. The rooms are very cute and clean and updated. The beach is only a minute walk away and the sand and water is incredible. Cannot beat the location! They also have a new pool that is just awesome! Built by the famous Insane Pools! The staff are all very friendly and for our second stay at Tropical Beach Resort we were very much as happy as with our first! "
