"Not the easiest place to find, would suggest a sign between the two other buildings, it’s opp the Police station. At the rear of the front buildings. However once you have found it, the accommodation is great. Easy walk to buses or taxi to wherever. Great place would recommend, just remember it’s down an alley!"

"This place was way better than I was expecting. It is large and clean and very traditional and has great amenities like a washer dryer, a great bathroom and a nice upstairs. "Campton Kiyomizu is a traditional Japanese hotel conveniently located in the old town center of Kyoto. There was a near-by grocery store open 24 hours, which we frequented, and taxis were always available. The rooms were spacious, beds comfortable, and all areas were very clean. "Great host and communication. The house is cozy and it had everything we needed. The air conditioning was great in the Japanese heatwave. In just under 10 minutes, you can walk to some of the nicest streets in Kyoto with temples and cafes. However, everything around there closes quite early and becomes really quiet - so be aware if it’s not your vibe. Not a big deal for me, though. The only real issue is that the property is not very accessible: the closest bust stop is about 15 min away and...
