What a nice surprise!- a lovely home for our stay in Kyoto, with a fantastic outdoor bath tub for morning or evening relaxing moments. Bus stops outside, Family Mart around the corner for coffee, and plenty of taxis passing by. 30mns away from all tourist locations. A great way to experiment a traditional Japanese home.

Great traditional Japanese ryokan. Great area with park and food near by. Only 20 min taxi to shrines and temples. The outside onsen was sugoi!

We loved staying here on our honeymoon! We were visiting from Canada. We had plenty of space and loved using the outdoor bath! It was basically a private onsen. The tatami mats in the living room and upstairs made our experience very special. The hosts were very kind and communicative as well. The location was nice and quiet, just off a main street with lots of delicious restaurants and transportation to get around easily to tourist destinations. Highly recommend for a special Kyoto experience! We would love to stay here again and will recommend to all our friends.

Beautiful place to stay. Best feature was the iron outdoor tub! Full home with plenty of space. Step stairs. Two raised beds and two futons on the floor. Which were a little hard for me. And I love sleeping on a rock. But it didn’t matter at the end of a long walking day, a soak in the tub, sleep came Wally enough. Washer on site, no dryer, just a clothes rack which was very handy. Full fridge and microwave/airfyer. Nice fragrance bath soaps. Small shower room. But nice and hot water. Access to the property was given with easy to follow instructions and door code provided. Really nice place. Would happily stay here again. Super close to the aquarium!! A must visit to see the giant salamanders. Pretty close to the main train station too. Lots of restaurants around the area.

So authentic! Easy to get around wialking, taxi. Great access to station in Kyoto and amazing breakfast at the Wanderer and Scene Factory Coffee close by! Get the Hot Chocolate at scene - it's to die for!!
