The owner is kind, courteous, and amazing. The area around the property is absolutely beautiful from the people to the scenery, the grocery store is really close by and everyone is so friendly. The house is beautiful and everything from the decor to the amenities were very easy to use.

Accommodation was lovely - felt like a Japanese home. Beds were comfortable. Plenty of pots and pans to cook meals in the kitchen. Host was very helpful and friendly and responded quickly to any questions. Highly recommend.

Kumano house is cozy, clean and organized, and I loved all of the information provided for places to eat and visit. I was caught off guard with the rooms being on the 2nd floor and the steep stairs was burdensome with elderly family members in our party. We made it work and we enjoyed living in a typical home in Japan. Uber transportation were hesitant in traveling down the lane to the house but we also made that work. My group really enjoyed our time here at Kumano House.
