I love the history of the property. The owner was explaining the background and it was interesting. The surrounding area was very pretty. The area was quiet. Very friendly staff. Breakfast was yummy!

Busy, but not a bad place to stay.
Took a while for check in to be completed, as the busy bar area was also the check in area. Restaurant closed to early for food, although their website said evening meals are available until 8:30pm, unfortunately this wasn’t the case, so we found a excellent Pub in the next village that served food up until 9pm. Breakfast at the Bull Inn was cooked to order and was excellent !
