"This motel was a last resort location for me and my cat, as the shelters are filling up due to a chemical spill disaster in Orange County. I wanted to be better safe than sorry, and this place was not it. I am better off taking my chances at home. This motel is in a sketchy part of LB. I fell on the uneven pavement walking to the place. I was hoping my room would be cleaner given the non-refundable fees and on site charge, but that is not the case. On arriving, the room had a Pine Sol smell despite the open window. The AC worked, thankfully. Curtains and tub were dirty, window curtains had holes in them. The TV remote was hard to work, couldn't get from the menu page to any show. Walls were very thin, sound echoes. Worst of all, I had to cut my stay short due to bugs. The light fixture/mirror on the back wall had a young roach crawl out as soon as night fell. The staff offered to spray but I reminded them I brought my cat. I recommend spending a little more if you have the privilege and stay elsewhere. Or risk staying in a clean, safe home if you can. Horrible experience. Never again."

"This place is poorly maintained. A professional has never been hired here to fix anything. Every door jamb, door, light switch is dirty and grimey. There was stuff splattered on the walls and ceilings. Our bathroom door has a square piece panel attached to cover a hole. Our room # plate was missing a digit. Floors were gross, TV stopped working (staff shrugged their shoulders and said maybe it will work tomorrow), ceiling panels in the elevator are being held together with duct tape and it's peeling apart. There's something resting on it that looks like a small dead animal. The light fixture in our room was almost removed, and the base remaining was almost covering the hole in the ceiling. The new light was across the room. The line they cut down the length of the ceiling. Then they just took a paint roller and painted one bright white stripe across the pop corn texture. Our windows were about 10 ft off the ground to a back alleyway, and they donn't lock or even click shut. They just freely slid back and forth. My son stepped into a hole in the floor while going around the bed. The lenolium is broken and sunken in. There is tape over a light switch. The "breakfast" was a few tiny croissants, a pitcher of milk, and some plain white bread. The point is, everything in sight here is handled with a band-aid approach, and it makes me wonder how everything else is handled, like cleaning the sheets, the water and plumbing, or the wiring. This is a last resort."

"The Hotel was clean and staff was helpful and professional. Pool table and amenities were very nice. I traveled with my fiancé but the hotel was very kid friendly. Board games, pool table, shuffle board was all very nice. The complaint is that there is NO Hot tub or jacuzzi which could redirect my next stay."

"The staff was really friendly and welcoming! But our room had bedbugs and that was it for us. It fell out of the pillows on the bed. We immediately went to the desk and they were nice but didn't seem concerned. I won't be coming back. The picture is when we threw one in the sink to really make sure we were seeing what we were seeing."

"Had a great stay before my cruise..Staff was wonderful the older gentleman at the front desk was so nice and friendly even checked me in early for no additional charge. The property was nice and clean as well as the room,bathroom bed was comfortable. The pool looked clean and inviting although I didn't swim..Location really worked for me since I flew in from Long Beach. Close to the airport and close to the cruise terminal.. Definitely my new go to when cruising out of San Pedro.."
