"Very small room. Very thin mattress. The construction of the "second floor" on which you sleep doesn't feel much professional and a bit unsafe. The air gets stuffy very fast when sleeping because of the lack of space. The shared bathrooms were clean when we arrived but got absolutely disgusting by the second night with urine everywhere."

"The view and location is great and it is ideal if you are a solo traveler backpacking. But if you have kids/ travel with large bags, please avoid this place as there are no elevators and the rooms are a bit crammed for space! "

"This hotel is amazing! It’s even more splendid in person than the photos show. It’s a fun place to stay, with surprises at every turn! I even got lost in the stairs once or twice… Ben, the owner, is hilarious and so very kind. You can walk to a million restaurants, there is no car traffic on the road where the hotel is so you can wander safely, and most major attractions are within easy walking distance. Special added bonus, two cats who love people and are simply boneless in your arms when you pet them. For us, even though we thought Belgium was somewhere we’d only visit once, we are seriously considering going again JUST to spend more time in this hotel! If you are looking for your boring Hilton or Marriott hotel, this is NOT it. But if you love kitsch and feeling welcome, then I’d highly recommend Hotel Mozart. Side note! Like I said, no cars in the neighborhood of the hotel so plan on walking down cobblestone streets with your luggage. Pack light! "
