"We regularly stay at this hotel and it’s the only places to stay in Reading!
Classy decor, delicious cocktails, and the comfiest bed in town.
Friendly staff took it all off.

"Excellent hotel! Our stay was wonderful, the staff were incredible! The building itself is beautiful and the location was perfect. Breakfast was top notch. If I find myself in Reading again, will absolutely stay here. "
"Attentive and friendly staff. Historic building, lots of character. Breakfast was croissants, muffins, toast, juice and great strong coffee!
The bed was huge and comfy, no street noise.
Close to restaurants in town.
Definitely recommend this hotel, it’s different and quirky with a big personality. "
"This room was simple, but clean and the shower was good. The owner gave me an upgrade so that I did not have to share a bathroom. For the price, it exceeded my expectations."

10/10 Excellent
"Had a lovely, calm, problem free stay. Check in staff were warm, welcoming and really helpful. Room spacious and well presented.
Excellent, relaxing buffet breakfast."
"Close to train station from where we walked. Good visit. Room was comfortable and well thought out with everything we needed. Check in/out excellent and fast. Breakfast was enough to set us up for the day."
"Stayed here for 5 nights on a work trip last week. The apartment was clean and had everything you could need for a week away from home. Price is excellent. Very happy customer."
"Beautiful property, very close to train station. Rooms have air conditioning so that was a plus! Attentive staff. We did not eat at the hotel so I cannot rate the food, but I would recommend the Malmaison for your stay in Reading. "
"I heard a few bad reviews so I was a bit apprehensive about booking .
The moment I arrived at the reception it did take a few moments for the staff to allocate a room but it wasn’t a long wait
I was approached with smiles .
The staff are friendly and always helpful .
The room was exceptionally clean , equipped with a microwave /fridge freezer and cutlery /mugs /tea and coffee /milk and a kettle .
I slept like a baby .
No Air conditioner but a fan but to be fair it’s a 3 star hotel so I wasn’t expected an AC although it would have been great (lol).
Breakfast was decent .
Please do not go by the reviews on here , book it and experience it for yourself . I don’t know what people were really expecting for a 3 star hotel but I was genuinely impressed.

"Business trip - good location for transport and town. Apartment well appointed. No black out blinds or a fan. But otherwise good. Excellent communication. "
