This property is quiet, relatively isolated and perfect for relaxing. The staff are friendly and helpful with some being long time staff who take great pride in their resort. Although there is little to do other than water activities and lying back to listen to the sea, this is what makes it perfect for a quiet, relaxing vacation.

This was my favourite place to stay in Thailand (after travelling for 4 weeks)! Loved Koh Samed the best. The hotel:resort was clean, very safe, tropical, relaxing, always chairs available, accommodating staff and a chill vibe. Water was crystal clear…. Amazing! Highly recommend.

Excellent location for beach swimming and exploring. Especially liked the platform swimmable distance from shore. Walking distance to restaurants and other beaches. Room was good with very good air conditioning. Staff is hit and miss. Front desk staff are mostly helpful and efficient. Housekeeping and wait staff less so. Breakfast has a variety and had basic vegan options. Older resort that could use an update and overall maintenance.

Nice little bungalows
Pretty decent experience. The beach nearby was pretty quiet, just far enough away from the village on the island where it was pretty quiet, but not so far away either. The staff was nice and the bungalow was clean. Wish the key locked both the locks on the room, cause locking when I left was kind of a pain (had to really shove the door close). Some decent food options with the restaurant at the hotel and a more upscale restaurant just next door with really awesome pizza. Probably would come back.

This is a very pleasant resort. The bay is absolutely beautiful. I booked for three nights and extended to seven.There are more elegant resorts but none have either the position or the simple, relaxed atmosphere of Tubtim. Staff are great. They even have a beach volleyball net. There are shops nearby but out of the way.

Lovely big room with view down the coast. Dont know if it was worth nearly double the price I paid for a balcony and a sea view. Breakfast was included and there was plenty of variety. The restaurant on the beach had very tasty reasonably priced food. Take a torch as it is needed getting from the room to the reception.

Beautifully situated in a cove that serves up warm, clear water, lush sands, beachfront housing, a delightful menu of Thai traditional favorites and Western options, and staff who are warm, welcoming, and helpful. English is spoken by many staff and they go out of their way to ensure your stay is enjoyable. Tubtim is situated on a very walkable beach that takes you to other venues, new beachfronts, water activities, and quick access to convenience stores (local and 7-11) and the main arrivals dock is just a short cab ride away. It is my 'happy, go-to place' when a break is needed from the day-to-day work hussle.

On the best side of island nice beach dining poor service slow when you could get it in 78 trips to Thailand this was the worst caesar salad ever.Only short walk to next beach with many good bars and restaurants. To be fair they seem to be building new rooms but need to tidy the entry. would i go there again YES still value for money

Great resort on nice beach with swimming dogs
Wonderful resort. Very nice beach. Quiet but easy walk to bars etc. Nice breakfast included. Restaurant has great food reasonably priced. Have wonderful friendly dogs including Soda a golden retriever that swims with guests all day. We loved the resort.

A nice stay is a pretty good location.
There was not a lot of breakfast options for vegetarians. They had a salad bar but there were only two dressings offered. The restaurant was ok. The beef curry roti was not that great.

Fine if your on the beach
We did not get the Room that we booked, and they did not want to move us. They put us in the back of the property where there were no proper walk paths and we all have cuts and sores from stepping on roots and rocks.

Wonderful place!
This would be the 6th time over the past 8 years that I have stayed at Tub Tim. I love it because of the location on Koh Samet, the overall environment, and the staff. It looked like they had done some improvements since I had been there a couple of years ago.

Good hotel at the end of a stretch of beach (more quiet) but still close to a lot of restaurants. 100 meters to the beach which is clean. Basic amenities as expected from a bungalow of this type. Good service and decent food at their restaurant. Just be aware when booking your return “speed boat” tickets, we were supposed to get picked up at our hotel but was told to walk to the pier. However the staff was kind enough to argue with the people who sold us the tickets and we were eventually picked up around 2 hour later.

The resort offered a quiet beachfront location in a jungle setting. The food was varied and delicious and the bar staff were helpful and fun. We spent a week relaxing at the resort and it was everything we expected. It gets a bit busier on Saturday night when lots of locals come over for the weekend but nothing to deter from the experience. Boats will pick you up from the beach to go to the islands.

The resort is located right in the beach. The beach is beautiful, with clean sand and turquoise water. There is absolutely no need to leave this beach, it has everything: a great restaurant that belongs to the resort, massage service right on the beach, bars, kayaks, tours. I mean why else do you need? :) The only one minus is if you have a Lot of luggage and you didn't book rooms right on the beach, then you will have to work out quite hard to bring your luggage up the stairs ( a lot of them). No one helps with the luggage( it might be quite a challenge!
