"I have stayed at Hearts Desire multiple times now. Sofia and Jason are great hosts, and they have worked hard to establish a B&B that is relaxing and safe. I will come again. I also like that I can walk to the restaurants downtown and even walk the neighborhood for a little exercise. Also close to hiking trails that overlook Raton. "

"This hotel has been consistently improving. Every time we stay you can see updates. The food in the restaurant is good but restaurant is closed Tuesdays and opens later for breakfast."

"Jumped off the Southwest Chief for a night in Raton, and Brandi & Michael went above & beyond to make my visit a good one- they even picked me up at the train station! The motor inn itself is done in vintage style, and my room was extremely neat and homey. Best night of sleep I've had in months! Would highly recommend."

"We usually stay here when we're headed to Philmont. It is walking distance to the restaurants we prefer. Unfortunately, the pool wasn't available, which had the grandkids bummed out. Until we found out about the Raton Regional Swim Center. They both had a blast. Thanks to the hotel staff for directing us there. "

"Third time stayed at the motel while traveling through New Mexico. Property is well managed, and rooms are clean. It is an older motel, but everything is well maintained. We stayed in a queen room this time. It was a bit small, but worked for a night's sleep. Would stay again."
