"Very happy with this hotel. My dad and I stayed because my dad is buying a house in the area. We only planned to stay a few days initially but ended up staying almost our entire trip because it was so nice and the staff was very helpful. There is a pool and hot tub right in the front lobby which is easily accessible and good for mingling with other guests if thats something you enjoy."

"Customer service from the front desk staff was outstanding. They even followed up with a call to our room to make sure we had everything we needed, which was a thoughtful touch. The kids absolutely loved the indoor pool, and it’s become a favorite stop for our family. We’ve stayed here twice over the past few years on our way to Colorado for ski trips. The hotel is consistently clean, comfortable, and well maintained, with a welcoming and attentive staff. The onsite restaurant was also very good and made our stay even more convenient. "

"After staying here for the first time last year I was absolutely impressed with how clean everything was so I’ve been booking here since and always satisfied however this time I almost turned around and walked out as the night manager couldn’t have been more rude and unprofessional! I had made 2 reservations by mistake and he was verbally disrespectful and acted like I the guest was putting him out just being there my suggestion is make it mandatory that he cleans his personal appearance up and retrain him! Sadly this experience has made vow not to stay here anymore unless he isn’t working as this was in my opinion the best hotel in Raton NM and last complaint is the “Continental breakfast” is nothing more than instant oatmeal dry bagels donuts and juice other than a waffle…….. being how this chain is Wyndham Hotels I would expect a proper “Continental Breakfast” "

"The hotel is currently under major construction! Flooring was being installed in the lobby during our stay and the property felt like a job site. Guests should be notified of renovations before booking. The bathrooms downstairs near lobby were out of order. The breakfast drinks were hot. We couldn’t get out of there fast enough as it felt like we were dancing around a job site. "
