A must stay, we stayed here during a tour of the south and out of the five places we stayed this was by far our favourite. It is clean, comfortable with a fantastic location and very warm hosts.

We had a fantastic time here. The cabin was warm, clean and spacious and private with everything we needed to be self sufficient catering-wise. It was fabulous to be able to just step out on the deck to see the Aurora two nights in a row! We'd highly recommend this fabulous accommodation!

Easy to find and check in was quick. Staff were helpful and friendly. The camping pods were cozy and warm with lovely touches including robes. The shared kitchen and bathrooms were also clean and well equipped.

Awesome self contained accomodation near Selfoss!! Great value and brand new!

Had the most amazing stay here. Beautifully appointed cottages with panoramic views surrounding. The cottages are amazing inside, warm, cozy and the most incredible bed. Shower is rainfall, bathroom was well equipt and the communication throughout was amazing! Willl recommend for sure - plus we saw the northern lights which is why we picked this location (along with accessibility to things nearby)

Peaceful. Easy and well equipped for a family. Easy to find and a great location as a base for many sights.

Lovely simple room. Great view. Good hot tub. Lovely staff. Fab breakfast

Friendly staff, lovely hotel, beautiful hot pool and sauna, highly recommended!

The cabin was warm and inviting, clean and comfortable.

Friendly staff and great food

We had a lovely stay at Askot Cottages and were sad to leave! The cottage was very cosy and has been very thoughtfully designed. The bed was very comfortable and we loved the gorgeous view from the big window. We were lucky enough to see the Northern Lights twice while we were there! We also appreciated the small touches, with plenty of tea and coffee for our stay, shampoo, conditioner and shower gel provided. There is even a small shop where they have basics you can purchase (cash only). Having...

This is a unique and lovely hotel in a remote part of the south of Iceland. The rooms have a cabin-feel and there are outdoor hot tubs. Great for exploring the south coast and being rural enough to give you a good chance of seeing the northern lights. Good breakfast where you can help yourself to the buffet and/or order off the menu (only 3 items though - omelettes, fry-up or porridge). Would have been nice to have scrambled egg as an option or pancakes. Breakfast is served 7-10am and usually...

We stayed here on night 2 of our Ring Road tour and it was a good base after doing the Golden Circle sights. The hotel staff were friendly. The room we had was clean and spacious. There was a selection of teas and coffee sachets. The bathroom was big and the shower was good. The room was accessed through an external door, and there was a little sitting area outside. There is a small area at the back of the hotel with an electric sauna and a hot tub, which was very pleasant after a day’s...
