We chose this hotel for its excellent situation beneath the mountains (so many places within an hour or two's drive e.g. Julian, Ramona, Agua Caliente...). This establishment is extremely well managed by Senor Carl Holmes, his AGM, Sean, Anna, Head of Housekeeping and her team including Terri, Kelly and Velia. Front Desk has characters amongst it's staff including Sherrina and Alphonse, who are very friendly and receptive to any request made to them including printing maps, best places to eat locally etc.. We had a problem with our room safe and within minutes Head of Maintenance, Robert ,attended, diagnosed the fault and replaced the safe, you...

Fairly new, big, clean rooms and good breakfast

Fantastic view- sea view room- plus so clean,and reception v friendly. And great restaurants next door.

We have just come to the end of a wonderful road trip from San Francisco to San Diego and this property was our last stay . We were checked in by Alexis who was so friendly and helpful The alpine lodge was absolutely perfect - the room was lovely - toiletries was gorgeous Sad we only needed to stay one night ! The hotel was fabulous ideal setting The cafe was great for breakfast lunch and evening food great price too Would definitely stay again

We only stayed for one night on our way to our final destination but we very much enjoyed our visit. The staff from the valet parking to the housekeeping and pool staff were all very pleasant and very helpful. There is a shopping mall across the street with a free shuttle service. The pool area was a particular favourite of ours.

We selected this hotel for location, however the services provided by the hotel and staff were excellent. Staff could not have been more helpful, from the manager (very visible during our stay), to reception and housekeeping staff. The complimentary breakfast was very good, and again staff couldn't have been more attentive during this service. Rooms were well equipped (even had a microwave). I would highly recommend this hotel.
