"Conveniently located on the outskirts so day one avoids the throes of city traffic. Lush garden on-property in the same line of sight as the lake on the other side of the outer road is a welcome sight. The kids' room is a boon to fill those time gaps in the trip when you are not out and about but the kids are not resting either. Kids loved the options in the kids' room and all their time in the well-kept pool. Based on all our previous experiences staying with 5 star properties, the hotel rooms were a bit cramped and the in-room dining was a tad overpriced. However, the ever helpful staff made it worth our dime and time, not allowing the concerns to fester. The convenience of every single staff member (restaurant, reception, valet, floors, room service) being prompt, cheery and agreeable is what sets the best hotels apart in India. "This hotel was Gorgeous. It felt like what ive always dreamed India would be like. It had so much character. Our room was spectacular. Had a balcony overlooking the hotel with its rooftop terrace. At night there was always dinner and a shiw which was lovely. Breakfast was delicious and the staff was friendly, welcoming and helped us with whatever we needed. They made us feel so at home. I highly recommend to anyone looking for an affordable and unique stay."
