Great hotel, had security and attentive staff. Breakfast included fresh fruit, breads, porridge and fresh orange juice. Room was quite spacious with large bathroom. Plaza Grande and historic area is 15 min taxi ride away. Local area was unsafe at night; staff insisted on taxi rides to go anywhere after dark.

Every trip to Ecuador I would stay at this Hotel. The rooms a very spacey and roomie always clean the staff is very friendly and the staff speaks very good English so there's no misunderstandings if you're planning to eat the restaurant inside the hotel has the top of the line food everything on it very delicious
