Hotel was wonderful. I have to warn that there is no elevator. The room was beautiful. Loved it

Beautiful view of the ocean. Saw sea otters, bald eagles, and I think even a seal or two. Clean comfortable beds. Very quiet. City bus that takes you to downtown Qualicum Beach if you don't have a car. Very kind and helpful staff.

Check out time was too early. Since the days start late during winter time, it will be nicer to have a later check out time…

I liked the fully equipped 1 bedroom Condo I was assigned on the 2nd floor but trying to find my parking spot was difficult as the parking spot numbers were very faded out and definitely now clear to see at the time I arrived! I finally drove around the parking area 3 times to figure out the parking ...

An oasis in a desert of industry, ugly suburban sprawl and brutal roads. We were cycle touring and Qualicum Beach made a lovely end to an awful day of negotiating brutal roads and bullying drivers. I don’t recommend Vancouver Island for cycling.
Lovely to be staying in a non-commercial town with local shops and restaurants. The Old School House Art & Craft Centre was a delight.
It’s not a sandy beach but pebbles so bring sturdy footwear. If you don’t have a car it’s difficult to get around as there is no shuttle or taxi. There is a nice walk which passes a few restaurants and you can do paddle boarding
