"A lovely hotel in a fabulous area, so convenient for exploring the surroundings.
We walked lots and would have loved a sauna or hot tub to return to…that would make it even more special! "
"very conveniently located near durdle door. Beautiful shore and walking trails nearby. Since the place is new, some renovation was ongoing hence quite noisy. Staff was very friendly and cooperative. Would go there again!!"

The Knoll House
10/10 Excellent
"The Knoll House Hotel has a lot of character and some charming communal rooms (a bar, lounge and games room). From the front loan you have an amazing view of the sea. There are also other facilities, such as the outdoor swimming pool that is a plus, especially on a warm, sunny day. It is situated in a lovely, quiet area by the Studland coast and just a short walk from the beach. We stayed in a room in an annex at the back of the main building and it was quiet and pleasant. The breakfast in the morning is good quality and the restaurant area is very spacious with large windows to enjoy the view outside. This hotel is a time capsule, a nostalgic trip to the English seaside.

"Really enjoyed our stay here. Beautiful setting overlooking Swanage. Lovely gardens. Spa was a real treat. As with everthing not cheap, the drinks could have been priced more competitively, but most hotels have high bar prices for some reason?"
"Martin welcomed us and was friendly. You could see the team work hard to maintain the showers for so many people and the tent was peaceful and dark at night aiding restful sleep. It has lovely views and so many places to visit with easy driving distance. Great stay for families "
"This property is what I would call quirky due to its age. There are steps down from the kitchenette into the lounge and steps from the lounge into the downstairs bathroom.
I found the property to be clean and comfortable.
Generally street parking worked ok but it’s a long walk to the seafront. "
