This is a beautiful property in the Punta Cana area, however, I don't think the service equals a 5 star resort as it advertises. When we arrived, we had booked a 4th floor suite due to privacy, and the hotel had assigned us a room on the 3rd floor, after finding proof of our booking, they were able to assign us the correct room category. The room was nice, but the jacuzzi only could be filled with cold water and we had to call the front desk to request it to be filled. There was a security issue in where people who had other suites on the fourth floor could also open our door and just walk in. There was no way of signalizing the staff that we didn't want maid service in the morning and no sign of do not disturb was available to use. The hotel has room service, however the options are few and there is a 7 dollar delivery fee, also the room service does not run 24 hrs which can be very inconvenient. The leg of our bed was unsteady when we first got there, and it bent broke while we were sleeping, the hotel was notified and they came and tried to fix it, welding the broken legs which did not fix the problem at all. Another issue, was that they did not have drinking service to the pool or the beach area, we had to walk to get our drinks. The fridge in the room was not stocked daily and we had to call several times to the reception to have someone bring us water.
Maids did not refill toilet paper, or toiletries, in fact I had to ask one of them for toilet paper downstairs. :(
