"We were traveling by car and the hotel was easy to find. We had pre arranged to park at the hotel and the fee was reasonable. We had a delay on getting to hotel by a day but on calling the hotel they were very accommodating and sent an email with codes on to get in if we arrived late in the day. On arrival check in was simple and quick. We booked a family room for 4, which consisted bunkers and a pull out sofabed. The room was very compact and wasn’t much space. "Bad start - drove through the maze to drop off bags, asked hotel person (hard to identify since it's also a restaurant) for advice on where to park, and he said he had no idea at all. As parking is clearly an issue in St. Malo, he should've had some idea. We finally figured something reasonable out after 40 minutes of trying to get back out of town. Second - no AC, which is fine, but if you opened windows the noise from the bar went on late into the night. We asked about a fan, and they said...

"Un gîte adorable et cosy - bien équipé et bien entretenu, très propre avec des hôtes accueillants. Il y a tout ce qu’il faut et plus pour un séjour agréable et indépendant! Seul petit bémol: le gîte avec son entreé (et sa terrasse) s’ouvrent sur le parking. Donc s’il y du monde (et il y’en avait, surtout quand les hôtes étaient partis pour les jours fériés), ça se passe juste devant vous."

"Hotel room was basic but very nice and extremely quiet. It was an easy walk to anywhere in the old town. Only problem was staff lost my reservation for a parking spot, but we worked that out."

"Awesome property in the best town. We stayed in an apartment with a pull out bed for the kids, they loved it. Kitchen was handy to have for breakfasts and when we didn’t feel like eating out. There is a small grocery store in town and lots of great restaurants nearby. Easy walk to the beach. Apartment was clean and comfortable. "
