Palace Hotel Port Townsend
2.5 star property
9.4 out of 10, Exceptional, (1000)
"Perfectly preserved turn-of-the-20th century property. Decorated with antiques, but nothing felt too precious. The hotel has several cozy public areas (a library!) and is just in general a joy to be in. Our room faced Water Street and had storm windows in, which helped mitigate street noise pretty effectively. Also: It was *clean*. In spite of all the old decor, there was no dust anywhere, no old grime, and no odors. Really excellent. "
